Courtney Tropper attended San Diego Mesa College from 1999 to 2000, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities. Courtney then went on to study at San Diego State University, graduating in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Applied Arts and Sciences, with an emphasis in Furniture Design.

In terms of additional certifications, Courtney Tropper obtained a CompTIA Security+ Certification from CompTIA in February 2008. Courtney also earned a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in September 2021.
