Joel Jacks

Joel Jacks has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Joel is currently a Field CTO/Solutions Evangelist at Ivanti, where they focus on bridging the gap in client interactions, ensuring client satisfaction, and aligning product expectations. Joel actively participates in user groups and provides demonstrations and presentations on industry-leading security, EXM, and UEM products.

Prior to Ivanti, Joel worked at BMC Software, starting as a Technical Marketing Consultant before becoming a Principal Evangelist for Digital Service and Operations Management. In this role, they served as a technologist and evangelist, driving thought leadership strategies and collaborating with sales and customers to visualize enterprise leveraging BMC tools. Joel also played a key role in executing communication strategies, managing product demonstrations, and supporting pre-and post-sales activities.

Before BMC Software, Joel held positions at Column Technologies as a Senior Business Process Analyst, JMB Consulting as a Consulting Business Analyst, Zappos Family of Companies as a Senior Business and Solutions Analyst, and LDS Church as an Application Systems Engineer. In these roles, they provided requirements gathering, process definition, project management, user interface engineering, and technical leadership.

Joel's early career includes a position at Las Vegas Valley Water District as a Senior Systems Analyst, where they oversaw new technology acquisition, design, development, implementation, and training. Joel also mentored a team of technicians and received numerous awards for outstanding service and support. Prior to that, Joel worked at Parsons Corporation as a Technical Specialist.

Throughout their career, Joel has demonstrated expertise in technical leadership, customer satisfaction, product evangelism, and strategic initiatives. Joel'sdedication to excellent service has been recognized through various awards and recognition.

Joel Jacks earned their Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, attending from 2000 to 2005. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Public Administration (MPA) at the University of Montana, completing it from 2005 to 2006.
