John Newpower

John Newpower has extensive work experience in strategic alliances, OEM sales, and business development. John started their career in 1993 with Deluxe Corporation, where they worked in sales for three years. After that, they joined International Decision Systems as a Sales Executive and later became an Account Executive.

In 2003, John joined Shavlik Technologies and held various roles, including Territory Account Manager, OEM Account Executive, and Senior Manager of WW Business Development. During their time at Shavlik Technologies, they were responsible for managing sales efforts, executing business cycles, and developing OEM relationships.

John then moved to VMware in 2011 and served as a Senior Strategic Alliance Manager. In this role, they identified, negotiated, and structured OEM partnership agreements in the virtual and cloud markets. John also developed and managed go-to-market strategies with partners to maximize strategic impact and revenue.

From 2013 to 2016, John worked at LANDESK Software as a Senior Strategic Alliance Manager and later as the Director of OEM Sales. In these roles, they negotiated and established OEM partnerships, accelerated revenue growth through strategic alliances, and developed GTM plans.

Currently, John is working at Ivanti as the Senior Director of Strategic Alliances, a position they have held since 2017.

John Newpower completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, from 1984 to 1988. Subsequently, they pursued a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where they studied from 1989 to 1992.
