Kate Kim

Kate Kim has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Kate started their career as a Product Marketing Manager at LG Electronics Inc. from 2001 to 2006. Kate then joined E.I. DuPont De Nemours & Company as a Strategic Marketing Analyst for their Marketing Leadership Development Program in 2007. Following that, they worked as a Leadership Associate at MeadWestvaco from 2008 to 2009.

In 2010, Kate became an Entrepreneur and worked as a Business Development Consultant and Strategic Business Partner/Advisor to a startup. During this time, they created business models for the small clinic market and developed market segmentation strategies for medical software. Kate also conducted competitive analysis and developed operation strategies for offshore outsourcing.

Kate then joined Samsung Electronics America in 2012 as a Senior Business Development Manager for Enterprise Solution Strategic Alliances & Partnerships. In this role, they managed mobility product portfolios, identified new business opportunities, and converted them into revenue-generating deals.

In 2015, Kate joined AT&T Cybersecurity as a Lead Product Marketing Manager for Cybersecurity Solutions - Endpoint Security. Kate developed go-to-market strategies, managed product life cycles, and increased revenue by 30% through partnership strategies. Kate also led sales enablement efforts by creating product training contents and conducting seller training sessions.

Most recently, Kate joined Ivanti in 2021 as a Senior Product Marketing Manager for Solutions Marketing.

Kate Kim has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in General Management from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. Their undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Korea University. In addition to their educational background, Kate has obtained several certifications including Certified Product Marketing Manager (CPMM) from Product Marketing Alliance and VMware Sales Professional and VMware Technical Sales Professional from VMware.
