Knut Flaten

Knut Flaten has extensive experience in civil engineering and project management, currently serving as VA-sjef for Strand, Hjelmeland, and Kvitsøy at IVAR IKS since August 2011, focusing on management, project leadership, and personnel responsibility. Previous roles include VA-sjef for Strand and Hjelmeland, VAR-sjef for Rennesøy, Finnøy, and Kvitsøy, and Overingeniør, all involving various aspects of project management and engineering. Prior positions include Sivilingeniør at Multiconsult and BNO Rådgivende ingeniører, along with Fagansvarlig VA for Strand kommune. Knut Flaten holds a Master's degree in Technical Subjects, specializing in Nature and Environmental Engineering and Municipal Engineering from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences and a foundational education in Norwegian language and literature from Sogndal Lærarhøgskule.
