Richard Svinkin

Richard Svinkin has had a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Richard is currently the Executive Director of AI Product Management at Iveric Bio, an Astellas Company, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Partner at Baker Hall Capital starting in 2021. From 2018 to 2023, Richard held multiple positions at Novartis, including Executive Director of Product Horizon AI, Director of Digital Health Solutions, and Senior Technical Product Manager. Richard served as the CEO, Co-founder, and Head of Product at Jaywalk from 2016 to 2019 and was also the Co-founder and Head of Product at Freemit from 2015 to 2016. Earlier in their career, Richard worked at Merck as a Technical Product Manager and Product Manager/UX Team Lead. Richard also served as the UX Lead and Product Strategist at Kodak and as a UX Lead at Merck. Richard began their career at Pfizer as a UX Designer and Researcher.

Richard Svinkin has a Masters degree in Public Management, with a focus on Management of Information Systems, from Carnegie Mellon University. Richard also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Carnegie Mellon University in History & Policy along with Creative Writing. Additionally, they attended Stuyvesant High School.
