Susan Baglino

Susan Baglino, MS, PMP has extensive experience in the field of clinical development and operations. Susan currently holds the position of Director of Clinical Sciences at Iveric Bio, where they started in March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Clinical Development at Adverum Biotechnologies, Inc. from April 2021 to March 2022. Susan also worked at Immunomedics as an Associate Director of Clinical Operations from January 2020 to April 2021, and as a Senior Clinical Study Manager from January 2019 to January 2020.

Before their time at Immunomedics, Susan worked at PRA Health Sciences as a Clinical Team Manager 2, where they were employed from July 2017 to January 2019. Susan also gained valuable experience at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where they held various roles including Clinical Site Manager from March 2014 to July 2017, Research Scientist from January 2008 to March 2014, and Associate Research Scientist from July 2006 to January 2008.

Susan's earlier experience includes working as a Textbook Reviewer at Pearson North America from February 2009 to May 2009, a Scientist at Roche Molecular Systems from November 2002 to June 2006, and a Research Assistant at Axcell Biosciences from February 2002 to September 2002.

Susan began their career as a Laboratory Assistant at The College of New Jersey, where they maintained stocks of D. melanogaster for the genetics laboratory under the guidance of Professor W. S. from January 2001 to May 2002. Susan also had an internship at Schering-Plough Research Institute from May 2001 to August 2001.

Susan Baglino, MS, PMP completed their education in a chronological order. Susan earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology from The College of New Jersey from 1998 to 2002. Susan then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Molecular Biology from Lehigh University from 2008 to 2012. In 2012, they obtained a Certificate in Clinical Development and Regulatory Affairs from Mercer County Community College. Susan also gained Professional Development Units in Project Management from The Projex Group, LLC in 2011. Susan additionally holds certifications in Project Management, including the Project Management Professional (PMP®) designation from the Project Management Institute obtained in 2018, and the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) obtained in April 2014.
