Lauren Revene

Associate Scientist, Cellular Mechanisms at iVexSol

Lauren Revene has held a variety of roles in the past six years. In 2016, they were a Sales Associate at Dunkin' Brands, where they greeted customers and assisted them with questions about food and beverage availability. Lauren also prepared and served food and beverages and managed the cash register. In 2017, they were a Sales Associate at Cones On the Common, where they again greeted customers and assisted them with questions about merchandise, as well as food and beverage availability. Lauren also prepared and served food and beverages and managed the cash register. In 2018, they were a Retail Associate at EXPRESS, where they interacted with customers in a sales context to promote products and assist customers as needed. Lauren also operated the register by checking customers out, signing customers up for credit cards, and assisting customers with online orders. In the same year, they were a Pharmaceutical Intern at America's Compounding Center (ACC Apothecary). In 2021, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where they heterologously expressed putative paclitaxel transporters from Taxus chinensis in ABC transporter deficient strain of S. cerevisiae (AD1-8) and contributed towards the optimization of a previously used lithium acetate yeast transformation protocol using S. Currently, they are an Associate Scientist, Cellular Mechanisms and R&D Project Support at iVexSol.

Lauren Revene attended Worcester Academy from 2014 to 2018, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
