Matthew Gay

Sr. Director of Facilities & Engineering at iVexSol

Matthew Gay has worked in the engineering field for over 25 years, beginning with Crosspoint Engineering in 1996. Matthew held the roles of Engineer and Field Services Technician during their tenure there. In 2006, they joined NITTO DENKO Avecia Inc. as a Facilities Engineer and Process/Project Engineer. In this role, they provided engineering support for equipment issues across the organization and managed facility improvements, expansion projects, and equipment installation. In 2015, Gay moved to APECS Engineering Corp. as a Project Engineer. In 2017, they joined Mustang Bio as an Associate Director of Operations and Operations Manager. Most recently, they are the Director of Facilities at iVexSol.

Matthew Gay obtained a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University from 1998 to 2003. Matthew then obtained a BS in Environmental Science from Nazareth College from 1990 to 1996. Finally, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Facilities Management from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, they are certified in Aquatherm Polypropylene Pipe and Fittings Fusion Welding.
