Jonathan D. Ziegler

Jonathan D. Ziegler is a Machine Learning Scientist at Cradle since July 2023, focusing on protein optimization through advanced modeling techniques. Previously, Jonathan served as a Data Scientist at Novartis from September 2022 to August 2023, where development of models and pipelines in ophthalmology and neurodegenerative diseases was prioritized. As an AI4Life Resident at Novartis from August 2021 to July 2022, Jonathan contributed to synthesizing multi-modal 3D medical images. Academic experience includes a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Tübingen (2016-2021) and roles as a lecturer and research scientist. Jonathan has also held positions in machine learning engineering, teaching assistance, and studio assistance in various institutions and organizations throughout the career.
