Thomas Gallegos

Thomas Gallegos is a highly skilled scientist with extensive experience in cell biology and regenerative medicine. Currently serving as the Director of Cell Biology at IVIVA Medical Inc since August 2019, Thomas previously held positions including Sr. Scientist and Research Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital, where research focused on the regenerative capacity of zebrafish kidneys. Prior to that, Thomas was a Research Associate at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies, learning to culture and differentiate embryonic stem cells, and a Post-doctoral Fellow at the University of California, San Diego, specializing in computational biology and meta-analysis of microarray data. Thomas holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from New Mexico State University.
