Brenden Verweij has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Brenden started their career in 2012 as a Hostess at Hampshire Hotel Avenarius. In 2012, they also worked as a Duty Management Trainee at InterContinental Amstel Amsterdam. From 2013 to 2014, they served as a GC&E Coordinator at Hilton The Hague. In 2015, they joined Hilton Amsterdam as a Group Conference & Events Executive, where they managed bookings and requests for a key account and handled relationship management for group tours. In 2015, they also started working at Ivoren Wachters as an Account Manager, where they managed hotelservice-related accounts and outsourced teams. Brenden then moved up to the position of Senior Account Manager and later became a Team Lead for the Hotelservice Team, where they were responsible for the operation and daily management of the team, including coaching account managers and optimizing the planning department. In 2018, Brenden became a Commercieel Manager and member of the management team at Ivoren Wachters, where they had overall responsibility for the hotelservice team, including leading the Account Management and Recruitment teams, developing sales strategies, acquiring new clients, and negotiating contracts.

Brenden Verweij has a diverse education history. In 2009, they began studying Hospitality Administration/Management at Stenden University, where they completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in 2013. During their time at Stenden, in 2012, they pursued a minor in "Bedrijfsadviseur."

In 2011, Brenden also had the opportunity to study at Untrim International, where they completed a minor in "Meeting and Event Planning."

After completing their bachelor's degree, Brenden further expanded their skillset by enrolling in additional courses. In 2016-2017, they attended Yearth and studied "Professioneel Accountmanagement." Subsequently, in 2018, Brenden returned to Yearth to pursue a course in "Coachend leiderschap."
