Niccolò Tanzi

Project Engineer at IVU Traffic Technologies AG

Niccolò Tanzi has a strong background in transportation engineering and planning. Niccolò started their career as an Intern at the University of Florence in 2010. Niccolò then worked as a Road Safety Trainee at TRL in 2013. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Research Grant at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Florence, contributing to the development of accident prediction models. In 2016, they interned at Thales Italia Spa, analyzing funding opportunities for European R&D programs. Niccolò also worked as an Engineer responsible for public bids at Studio Stefano Grisostomi Ingegnere in 2016. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Junior Transport Engineer at Aleph s.r.l., focusing on transport planning and traffic modeling. Niccolò then worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Florence, contributing to a skills development project for transportation professionals. Niccolò joined M.A.I.O.R. in 2018, where they held various roles including Product Specialist and Senior Product Specialist, providing support for public transport planning and scheduling. Niccolò is currently working at IVU Traffic Technologies as a Project Engineer, starting in 2022.

Niccolò Tanzi pursued their education in a systematic manner, starting with their high school diploma from Liceo Scientifico Statale G. Castelnuovo, which they obtained between 1999 and 2004. Niccolò then proceeded to Università degli Studi di Firenze, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering - Transport Systems from 2004 to 2011. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Civil Engineering - Infrastructure Systems from the same university between 2011 and 2015. In 2016, Niccolò participated in the GIOTTO Project 2016 – GIOvani Talenti TOscani, which focused on developing their soft skills.
