Marios Georgiou

Marios Georgiou is the intellectual property manager at Ivy Farm Technologies. Marios has over four years of experience in intellectual property management, having previously worked at BenevolentAI and the Metropolitan Police.

At BenevolentAI, Marios managed the IP portfolio for the company's AI patents. Their responsibilities included managing patentability searches, driving disclosures for patent filings, and monitoring ongoing innovations for IP potential. Marios also maintained strong connections to the research leads in order to ensure oversight of R&D was aligned with IP and the company's strategy.

At the Metropolitan Police, Marios advised internal departments on appropriate governance and organisation of relationships containing background and foreground IP. Marios also led on existing trademarks and copyright materials, monitoring potential infringement and planned for the most appropriate way to resolve issues.

Marios Georgiou completed a master's degree in psychology from Birkbeck, University of London. Marios then went on to complete a master's degree in intellectual property from Queen Mary University of London. Marios also holds a certification in behavioral economics from Irrational Labs.
