Colin Bortner

Colin Bortner has a diverse work experience spanning from 2009 to the present. From 2009 to 2011, they worked at Monument Advocacy as a Director, Associate, and Fellow. Colin also had a paid internship at the U.S. House of Representatives' Committee on Homeland Security in 2009. From 2011 to 2020, Bortner worked at Netflix, where they held the roles of Director, Global Public Policy, EMEA, Director, Global Public Policy, New Markets, and Manager, Global Public Policy. In 2020, they co-founded Ivy Natal, a California-based biotech startup, where they currently serve as Co-founder and CEO and Co-founder and Advisor. In 2022, they will become the Principal at Think Speak.

Colin Bortner obtained an Honors BA in Mathematics and Linguistics from the University of Rochester in 2007. Colin then went on to receive a Take Five Scholarship from the University of Rochester in 2008 for Creative Writing.
