Deborah Dewey

Deborah Dewey is an established leader with extensive experience in the utility and energy sectors, currently serving as the Executive Director at Ivy Tech Community College since May 2023. Previous roles include Consultant for a confidential company, and President of both Missouri American Water and Indiana American Water, where leadership focused on utility operations and strategic management. Deborah has a strong background in economic development as President of GAGE The Growth Alliance for Greater Evansville, achieving significant job creation and recognition for contributions to technology transfer. Additionally, experience includes managing and developing independent consulting firms and overseeing major transitions during leadership roles at Western Kentucky Energy and GE. Deborah holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Central Florida.
