Jennifer Hallberg

Jennifer Hallberg has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Jennifer is currently the Director of Hospitality Operations at Ivy Tech Community College, where they started in February 2023. Jennifer previously held the position of Chef Instructor and Assistant Director of Hospitality Operations at the same institution. Jennifer also worked as a Food Writer for Chef's Pencil starting in January 2022.

Prior to their role at Ivy Tech, Jennifer was the Executive Chef Director at Sycamore Reserve Senior Resort Living from November 2019 to April 2020. Jennifer also served as an Executive Chef and Sous Chef at TouchPoint Support Services from March 2014 to November 2019.

Before their time at TouchPoint Support Services, Jennifer worked as a Sous Chef at Regency Senior Living from March 2012 to May 2013. Prior to that, they owned their own confectionery design business, Jennifer Hallberg Confectionery Design, from January 2011 to January 2012. Jennifer began their career in the industry as a Cook at Regency Senior Living from May 2009 to March 2011.

Jennifer Hallberg earned a Bachelor's degree in Music from the University of Indianapolis in the years of 2003 to 2008. Following that, they pursued an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Baking and Pastry Arts/Baker/Pastry Chef at Ivy Tech Community College from 2008 to 2010. Jennifer also holds certifications as a Foodservice Management Professional (FMP), ServSafe Manager, and Servsafe Proctor from the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF), although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are unknown.
