Melissa Jeffries Speck

Melissa Jeffries Speck, Ed.D, serves as the IvyOnline Faculty Lead for Business, Logistics, and Supply Chain and holds multiple academic positions at Ivy Tech Community College, including Assistant Vice Chancellor of Academics and Department Chair of the School of Business and Accounting. With experience as a professor and associate professor, course responsibilities encompass Business Law, Marketing, Career Development, Ethics, and Leadership. Additionally, Melissa has contributed as a Peer Reviewer for the Higher Learning Commission since February 2018. Prior experience includes resource development roles at YMCA Safe Place Services and the Muhammad Ali Center, as well as serving as Associate Campaign Director at Metro United Way. Melissa holds an Ed.D. in Leadership from Spalding University, an MBA from Indiana University Southeast, and a BS in Business/Marketing from Indiana University Southeast.
