Christian Müller

Christian Müller has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Christian began their career as an Import disposition for road feeders at Natrual Ltd. from August 1995 to June 2001. Christian then worked in the Warehouse/Accounting department at Haecky Import Ltd. from September to December 2002. Following that, they joined Panalpina Ltd. as an Application Consultant from January 2003 to December 2010. In 2011, they joined Global River Cruises GmbH as a Financial Analyst until May 2013. Christian is currently employed at IWB Industrielle Werke Basel, where they started as a Junior Assetmanager in November 2013 and is now serving as an Asset Manager Netze since August 2018. In this role, they are responsible for project controlling and reporting plan vs. real costs. Christian also develops actions to optimize plan costs and provides monthly reports to management. Overall, Müller has acquired expertise in various areas such as finance, consulting, and project management throughout their extensive career.

Christian Müller has a diverse education history spanning multiple institutions and fields of study. In 1995 to 1998, they attended Handelsschule KV Basel, where they majored in international freight forwarding. In 2002, they briefly enrolled in the Swiss Information Technology School (WISS) and completed a program on application development with the programming language COBOL.

In 2003 to 2004, Müller attended Handelsschule KV Basel again and obtained a certificate in Cértificat de français du secrétariat from Chambre de commerce et d’industrie de région Paris Ile-de-France. Furthermore, they earned a DELF 1: A1 - A4 certification from Ministre de L'Education nationale in the same period. Additionally, they obtained a First Certificate in English from the University of Cambridge in 2004.

Müller's higher education began in 2007 at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, completing it in 2011. Christian returned to FHNW later, in 2018 to 2019, to pursue a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Controlling & Finance. In 2020, Müller obtained another Certificate of Advanced Studies from FHNW, this time in Controlling & Accounting. Christian also participated in an Intensiv Seminar on Agile Project Management, Scrum Framework, and Scrum Introduction in the same year. Continuing their education in 2022, they attended Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned.

Lastly, in 2023, Müller obtained a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Controlling & Consulting from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW.
