Ian McCallum

Ian McCallum has a diverse work experience spanning over the years. Ian is currently working as a Cloud APM Lead at IWG Plc. Prior to this, they served as the Lead ITSI Developer at Royal Schiphol Group, where they led the development effort for ITSI monitoring implementations of critical business services. Before that, they worked at Rabobank as an Agile Product Owner and Application Performance Monitoring Specialist, where they contributed to the digital transformation of the company and achieved significant milestones in terms of growing internal adoption, cost savings, and migration to new monitoring platforms. Ian also worked as a Freelance Consultant at various companies including HP, IBM, Tesco UK, Belgacom, Unilever, ING, ABN, and RBOS, specializing in HP Service Manager and HP ConnectIt. Ian has experience as a Senior Technical Consultant at Peregrine Systems Inc. and a Developer at Parity Solutions. Ian's early career included roles as a Lecturer in Music Technology with Electronics at Glasgow Kelvin College and a Teacher of Mathematics at Cardonald Secondary School.

Ian McCallum completed a Bachelor of General Science degree from the University of the West of Scotland in 1990. Ian then pursued a PgDip in Artificial Intelligence and Expert Systems at the same university from 1990 to 1991. Later, in 1994 to 1995, they obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of Strathclyde.
