Samuel Tay

Samuel Tay has extensive experience in the real estate industry. Samuel currently holds the role of SVP Head of Real Estate and Partnerships, APAC at IWG plc, where they manage and develops a portfolio of assets across the Asia Pacific region. Prior to this, Samuel worked at Harris Hawk Advisors, where they served as Co-Founder and Managing Partner, specializing in real estate investment and advisory services. Samuel also worked at WeWork as the Senior Director and Regional Head of Real Estate for the Asia Pacific region, overseeing real estate transactions and partnerships. Additionally, Samuel has experience at AEP Investment Management and Khazanah, where they were involved in real estate investments, fundraising, and asset management. Samuel began their career at Morgan Stanley in the Investment Banking Division and later worked as a lawyer in M&A and Banking & Finance at Herbert Smith Freehills. Overall, Samuel Tay has a strong background in real estate investment, asset management, and corporate finance.

Samuel Tay obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree with a focus on Law/Finance (Distinction) from Murdoch University, studying from 1997 to 2000. Samuel then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment, specializing in Corporate Finance, at the Financial Services Institute of Australia from 2002 to 2004.
