Florian Wimmer

Florian Wimmer has extensive experience in development and testing within the industrial sector, currently serving as the Director of Development & Testing at iwis since August 2017. Responsibilities include leading teams focused on industrial chain systems, condition monitoring, and sustainability goals, while engaging in project and innovation management. Prior roles at iwis involved product development and value engineering for chains and sensors, alongside academic experience in cost analysis and technical marketing. Wimmer began career development through internships and trainee positions in diverse fields, including revenue controlling and software testing, following the completion of a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering and Economics and an MBA & Eng. in Business Administration and Engineering from Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences.
