Anita Milman

Chair - Groundwater Task Force at IWRA - International Water Resources Association

Anita Milman currently serves as the Chair of the Groundwater Task Force at the International Water Resources Association since September 2020, while also holding the position of Professor in the Department of Environmental Conservation at the University of Massachusetts Amherst since January 2012. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Research Associate focusing on Climate Change, Hydro-Conflict, and Human Security at the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research from September 2010 to January 2012, as well as a position in Water, Sanitation, and Health Education with the Peace Corps from 2000 to 2002. Anita Milman earned a Ph.D. in Energy and Resources and an M.A. in the same field from the University of California, Berkeley, between 2004 and 2009, and holds an M.Eng. in Civil Engineering from Cornell University (1998-1999).
