Fana Aregawie

Fana Aregawie has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. In 2013, Fana worked as a Coordinator at Clothe Ethiopian Children at Dawit Elementary, where they were responsible for coordinating activities. In 2016, Fana served as a Research Assistant at the Department of Communication, UCSB. They then had an internship as an Online Marketing Intern at Habitat for Humanity of Southern Santa Barbara County in 2017. During the same year, Fana joined Workbridge Associates as a Product + Design Technical Recruiter, specializing in the placement of designers and managers in technology companies. They later became a Team Lead, Product + Design before leaving in 2019. In 2020, Fana joined IXL Learning as a Technical Recruiter and continued in the role until 2021. In 2022, Fana returned to IXL Learning as a Talent Acquisition Consultant and took on the role of Technical Recruiter in 2023.

Fana Aregawie received their Bachelor's degree from UC Santa Barbara from 2014 to 2017. Fana pursued a double major in Communication and German during their time at the university.
