Heather Schmitt

Heather Schmitt began their work experience in 2016 as an Elementary School Teacher with the Wake County Public School System. Heather held this role until June 2022. In July 2022, they joined IXL Learning as a Subscription Renewal Specialist. Heather then transitioned to the role of an Account Manager in July 2023. Currently, their tenure at IXL Learning is ongoing.

Heather Schmitt has a minor in Psychology from North Carolina State University, which they obtained before the year 2016. From 2012 to 2016, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the same university. In addition to their academic credentials, Heather has obtained a K-6 Teaching License from the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction in July 2016. Recently, in December 2021, they achieved a National Board Certification in Early Childhood/Generalist from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards.
