Kasandra Berens

Kasandra Berens has a diverse work experience. Kasandra started their professional journey as a Direct Banker/Call Center Representative at Huntington National Bank in July 2010, where they worked until December 2011. From January 2012 to January 2018, Kasandra worked as an Emergency 911 Dispatcher at Allegan County Central Dispatch. In September 2017, they volunteered as a Reading Mentor at Kalamazoo Public Schools for two months. Kasandra then joined Allegan Public School District as an Intern English Teacher in September 2018, and later became an English Teacher at West Ottawa Public Schools in December 2018. Kasandra is currently employed at IXL Learning as a Language Arts Content Creator since April 2023.

Kasandra Berens completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Western Michigan University in 2018. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from Kalamazoo Valley Community College in 2015.
