Valerie Vo

Valerie Vo has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over a decade. Valerie is currently the Director of Product Management at IXL Learning, a role they have held since December 2021. Prior to this, from March 2020 to December 2021, they served as a Group Product Manager at the same company.

Before joining IXL Learning, Valerie worked at Tripadvisor as a Senior Product Manager, leading the Travel Agent Program. Valerie'sresponsibilities included overseeing the product strategy and delivery of TripAdvisor's Travel Agent affiliate program, which enabled the distribution of 300,000 market-leading product selections. Valerie held this role from 2018 until March 2020.

Valerie also spent four years at Stella & Dot Family of Brands, where they served as a Senior Product Manager. In this role, they played a crucial role in growing the B2B2C platform internationally and launching the industry's first borderless commerce platform. Valerie collaborated closely with various cross-functional teams and built a native iOS app with features such as point-of-sale functionality, notifications, and personalized coaching. Valerie'stenure at Stella & Dot lasted from 2014 to 2018.

Prior to joining Stella & Dot, Valerie worked at Staples Innovation Labs as a Product Manager in 2014. There, they utilized big data and machine learning to deliver tailored customer experiences and offerings across Staples' platforms.

Valerie began their career in 2011 as a Senior Business Analyst at Optaros, an eCommerce services and retail consulting agency. Valerie worked with renowned clients such as Coach, Christie's Auction House, Walmart, Rue La La, and Bloomingdale's, assisting them in designing, building, and managing eCommerce solutions. Valerie remained with Optaros until 2014.

Before their ventures in the tech and retail industry, Valerie worked as a NASA Consulting Partner at ARES Corporation from 2009 to 2011. In this role, they specialized in software solutions, risk management, and consulting for government agencies, primarily based at NASA Headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Valerie Vo holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Psychology from Harvard University.
