Samuel Joaquim

Samuel Joaquim has over 14 years of work experience. Samuel began their career in 2006 as a Software and Migration Analyst at Convergys. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as a Software Analyst at Serasa Experian. In 2009, they joined IBM as a Staff Software Engineer, where they were a focal point for Software Security initiatives. From 2012 to 2017, they worked as an IT Solutions Architect / Technical Leader at Boa Vista Serviços. In 2014, they became a Freelance Contractor. In 2015, they joined Amazon as a Software Development Engineer. In 2018, they became the Software Architect, Developer and Co-Founder of Sipremo. In 2021, they joined iClinic as a Technical Lead and Senior Backend Developer and ixlayer as an Engineering Lead and Senior Software Development Engineer.

Samuel Joaquim's education history consists of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2001-2004), a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in IT Management from FIAP (2013-2014), a Postgraduation in Information Security from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica - ITA (2009-2010), and a High School degree from Pueri Domus (1998-1999). Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Machine Learning from Coursera (July 2019), Sun Certified Web Components Developer from Sun Microsystems (November 2009), and Sun Certified Java Programmer from Sun Microsystems (October 2008).
