Bill Metro has a diverse work experience in various leadership and technical roles. Bill served as the Chairman & CEO of IXP Corporation, where they led the company's growth and success in the public safety 911 managed services market. Prior to IXP, Bill was the Director of International Business Development at Electronic Data Systems (EDS), where they identified strategic growth markets and executed global growth initiatives. Bill also worked at MCI Communications as the Director of Engineering, responsible for network and information system development for the New York City Police Department. Additionally, Bill has experience as a management consultant and held roles at ECG Management Consultants, PRC Inc., King County, South Sound 911, and the City of Seattle.

Bill Metro attended Seattle University from 1980 to 1982, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in General Science with a focus on Math/Engineering.
