Shigeru Tanabu

Shigeru Tanabu has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Shigeru is currently working as the APAC Sales and Marketing Manager at Native Instruments since June 2023. In this role, they are responsible for managing APAC sales, sales planning, and executing marketing activities.

Prior to this, Tanabu worked as the iZotope APAC Sales and Marketing Manager at iZotope, Inc. from November 2019. Shigeru performed similar responsibilities of managing APAC sales, sales planning, and marketing activities.

Shigeru gained extensive experience at Crypton Future Media, INC. where they served as the Team Manager of the SONICWIRE team from April 2009 to November 2019. Shigeru'sroles involved managing the team, achieving sales budgets, overseeing sales growth, and establishing partnerships with developers.

Before that, Tanabu worked as an Independent Contractor and later as an Account Executive at RITTOR MUSIC, INC. Shigeru excelled in advertising sales, proposed marketing plans, and maintained client relationships with digital music instrument distributors and developers.

Shigeru also has experience as an Account Executive at TOWER RECORDS JAPAN INC., where they focused on advertising sales, marketing plan proposals, and customer development. Shigeru worked on the Tower Records magazine called "bounce" and researched major label artist releases.

Tanabu began their career as an Account Executive at US Frontline News, where they achieved sales targets and developed new customers.

Shigeru also worked as a Real Estate Salesperson at Parkway North Real Estate, a Sales and Customer Service Representative at TOKYO COCA COLA BOTTLING, INC., and an Account Manager at VOICE INTERNATIONAL, INC.

Throughout their career, Tanabu has consistently demonstrated strong sales and marketing skills, exceeding sales targets, maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales growth.

Shigeru Tanabu attended and completed their education at Meikai University from 1991 to 1992. Shigeru obtained a degree in Foreign Languages from the Department of English Language Studies, focusing on the study of the English language.
