Dave Fichardt has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Dave started their career at BSC STATIONERY SALES in 2001 as an Information Technology Supervisor. Dave then moved to Ernst & Young in 2005, where they served as a Manager until 2008. Dave joined Izwe Africa Group in 2008 as a Group Finance Manager. In 2011, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Izwe Ghana and held the position until 2013. Dave continued working with Izwe Ghana as a Director until 2020. Starting from 2014, Dave took on multiple roles within Izwe Africa Group, including the position of Chief Operations Officer from 2014 to 2020, Joint Managing Director from 2020 to 2021, and currently holds the position of Chief Commercial Officer since 2021. In addition to their roles in Izwe Africa Group and Izwe Ghana, Dave also served as a Director in Izwe Zambia and Izwe Kenya.
Dave Fichardt completed their education in the following order:
1) Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) in Accounting from the University of Johannesburg (2001-2003).
2) Bachelor of Commerce Honors (BCompt (Hons)) in Accounting from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika (2004).
3) Chartered Accountant South Africa (CA(SA)) from SAICA (2007-2011).
In addition to their formal education, Dave Fichardt obtained several certifications such as "Influencer Interview: Oprah Winfrey," "The Three Pillars of Effective Leadership by Jeff Weiner," "2-Minute Tips for Senior Leaders," "Jeff Weiner on Establishing a Culture and a Plan for Scaling," "Leading in Crisis," and "Ca(SA)" from various institutions, including LinkedIn and SAICA CA(SA).
