Joyce Swain-Bales

Joyce Swain-Bales has worked in a variety of roles since 1994. Joyce began their career at the Virginia Department of Health as an Office Service Specialist, where they billed Medicare/Medicaid/ Private Insurance/Self Pay for 3 Health Departments in Southwest VA. Joyce also submitted HCFA forms to private insurance companies and re-submitted all denials with corrected codes. In 2006, they joined J.A. Fielden Co., Inc. as a Project Coordinator. Joyce also served as Compliance/Safety Assistant, where they were responsible for SWPPP Compliance, Safety Compliance, and OSHA Compliance. Additionally, they set up all field jobsite offices and binders to ensure compliance with all State and Federal Guidelines. Joyce also set up all Hazardous Waste, Waste Management and Lamptracker for all active jobsites. Joyce also served as Field Project Coordinator, where they traveled and worked throughout many different states. In this role, they set up office trailers to ensure compliance, Haz-Waste, C&D, Lamptracker, Safety compliance per all OSHA, State and Federal guidelines. Joyce also ordered material as needed, purchase orders, and workers verification.

Joyce Swain-Bales attended Lee Junior College from 1984 to 1986, where they earned an Associate of Arts (AA) in Business Administration and Management, General. Joyce then attended Morehead State University from 1984 to 1988, but did not receive a degree.
