Dan Shaw

Dan Shaw is a Partner at J A Kemp, specializing in biotechnology and life sciences, with responsibilities that include the drafting, filing, and prosecution of various patent applications, as well as managing European opposition and appeal cases. Previous roles include Associate Patent Attorney at Reddie & Grose LLP and Patent Attorney at Carpmaels & Ransford LLP. Dan also served as an Academic Supervisor at the University of Cambridge and as Head of Science at St Nicholas Preparatory School in Seoul. Dan holds a PhD in Plant Molecular Biology from the University of Cambridge and a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London, along with a Master of Arts in Natural Sciences (Biochemistry) from the University of Cambridge.
