Hiro Shimazaki

Hiro Shimazaki is an experienced European and UK Patent Attorney currently serving as an Associate at J A Kemp since October 2018, with a progression from Trainee Patent Attorney to European Patent Attorney. Prior to this role, Hiro gained valuable experience as a Summer Research Student at the Lister Institute of Preventive Medicine and as an Intern at MeVitae. Academically, Hiro holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London (2019-2020) and a Master’s Degree in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford (2014-2018), following foundational education at Hampton School (2007-2014).
