Hyesun Jang

Hyesun Jang has worked as a Staff Scientist at the J. Craig Venter Institute since September 2021. Prior to that, they were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Georgia from February 2018 to September 2021. Hyesun also worked as a Research Associate at The Ohio State University from September 2013 to December 2017.

Hyesun Jang's education history begins with their enrollment at Chungbuk National University in 2005, where they pursued a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in the field of Veterinary Medicine. This program lasted until 2011. Hyesun then continued their education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2011 to 2012, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Veterinary Preventive Medicine. Subsequently, they attended The Ohio State University from 2013 to 2017, completing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Veterinary Preventive Medicine. Finally, in 2022, Hyesun engaged in a short-term course at Coursera in the field of Experimental Methods in Systems Biology.
