Lauren Olsen

Lauren Olsen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Lauren'smost recent position is as a Staff Accountant at J. Craig Venter Institute, starting in January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Target as a Team Member from August 2021 to December 2021. From February 2020 to June 2021, Lauren served as an Office Administrator & Bookkeeper at Contreras & Metelska, PA. In 2019, they worked as an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) Teacher at VIPKid from December 2019 to May 2020 and as a Server at Chili's from January 2019 to March 2019. Lauren also has experience in the food service industry, having been a Server at Features Sports Bar & Grill West Salem from October 2015 to May 2018 and a Host at Smilin' Moose Lodge Bar & Grill from May 2015 to September 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Ark of Angels Montessori Preschool from June 2011 to August 2014.

Lauren Olsen began their education at Stillwater Area High School, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. During this time, they did not obtain a specific degree or field of study.

Following their high school education, Lauren attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse from 2013 to 2018. Lauren earned a Bachelor's degree in International Business & Spanish.

In addition to their formal education, Lauren obtained certifications in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from the International Teacher Training Organization in May 2019, and Certification of Completion of the NIH Web-based training course from The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of Extramural Research in October 2016.
