Keith Boatner

Keith Boatner's work experience begins in 1988 when they worked as Manager of Applications at gomembers, Inc, where they managed a team of 20+ Analysts and Programmers responsible for the design, development, and support of application software. Keith worked there until 1997.

Boatner then joined Abbott Laboratories in 1998 as Director of Information Technology, where they managed a global IT budget and oversaw strategy, systems, security, and network operations. Keith remained with Abbott Laboratories until 2009.

From 2009 to 2012, Boatner worked at Argonne National Laboratory as Manager of Network Communications. In this role, they managed the strategy, operations, and support of the laboratory's networking infrastructure and communication systems.

In 2013, Boatner joined Cars.com as the Manager of Infrastructure Services, leading networking and engineering teams responsible for managing the corporate data centers, LAN/WAN, storage, and more. Keith stayed with Cars.com until 2014.

From 2014 to 2018, Boatner worked at LeasePlan USA as Director of IT Operations, overseeing IT operations within the company.

In 2018, Boatner joined Norix Furniture as Director of Information Technology, leading the internal and external team responsible for the selection, design, and implementation of NetSuite ERP. Keith also served as the head of global IT, managing and supporting all IT systems and infrastructure at Norix. Boatner held this position until 2023.

Lastly, in 2023, Boatner joined JL Clark as the Director of Information Technology. No end date is provided for this role.

Keith Boatner has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from Devry Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 1983 to 1986. Keith also completed a certificate program in Organizational Leadership from MOR Associates IT Leaders Program in 2012. Currently, Keith is pursuing a Masters in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Masters in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting and Business/Management from Northern Illinois University. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in NetSuite Certified SuiteFoundation from Oracle in 2021 and ITIL V3 Foundations from Global Knowledge Training in September 2015. Keith also holds a certification in Effective Listening from LinkedIn, and they have completed the Verenia CPQ certification.
