Emil Hornung

Emil Hornung is a seasoned Senior Java Engineer and Technical Leader with extensive experience in designing and implementing backend systems in various industries. Currently working at j-labs software specialists and Circle K since June 2017, Emil has led the development of a sophisticated internal web application for financial transactions. Previous roles include senior positions at apreel, 4finance, Roche, Deloitte Poland, Comarch, and IBM, where Emil contributed to significant projects such as mobile applications, flexible loan platforms, and multi-module web applications. Emil holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Warsaw University of Technology and has also studied at DTU - Technical University of Denmark. Proficient in a variety of technologies and tools, Emil's expertise encompasses Java (J2EE, Spring), SOAP web services, SQL, and Apache Tomcat, among others.
