Neil Lewty started their work experience as a Freelance Designer in 2002. Neil then worked as a Design Assistant at Michiko Koshino - Yen Jeans London and as a Designer at Anne Tyrrell Design Consultancy London. In 2003, they joined Bamford & Sons as a Designer and later became the Senior Menswear Designer before leaving in 2007. Neil returned to Bamford & Sons in 2008 as the Head of Menswear Design, leaving in 2009. From 2010 to 2017, they founded and served as the Company Director at The Style Foundry. In 2011, they joined Tommy Hilfiger as the Design Director Wovens Tommy Hilfiger Menswear and also served as the Design Director for New York Collection. In 2014, they worked as a Design Director - Consultant at Hackett London. From 2017 to 2020, they were the Senior Head of Design, Boss Menswear Smart Casual at HUGO BOSS. Currently, they are the Head of Design at J.LINDEBERG since August 2020.
Neil Lewty attended Leeds Arts University from 1996 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree. Neil then enrolled at Edinburgh College of Art from 1997 to 2000, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Fashion/Apparel Design. Finally, Neil Lewty joined the Royal College of Art from 2000 to 2002, where they completed their education with a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Fashion/Apparel Design.
