Carlos Guzman

Carlos Guzman currently serves as the Global Senior Manager of Finance and Operations at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) since April 2020. Prior to this role, Carlos worked as the Finance and Administration Manager at Northeastern University, managing financial operations for three departments within the Bouvé College of Health Sciences. Previous experience includes positions as a Data Analyst at Berklee College of Music, and Legislative Budget Analyst for the State of Rhode Island, where significant fiscal research and analysis were conducted for five state agencies. Carlos began career work as a Research Associate at The University of Göttingen, contributing to policy interventions aimed at poverty alleviation. Carlos holds an Advanced Certificate for Executives in Management, Innovation and Technology from MIT Sloan School of Management, along with additional business credentials from Harvard Business School and academic degrees from The University of Göttingen and Northeastern University.
