Veena Jayaram

Veena Jayaram is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research management and operations. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Research Operations at Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) since September 2022, Veena has previously held the position of Senior Research Manager at CRY - Child Rights and You from November 2014 to November 2020, where responsibilities included managing large-scale data collection and creating research-led content for various stakeholders. Veena's consultancy at Challenging Heights involved field research on vulnerable children in Ghana, while earlier roles included monitoring and evaluation for the national Malaria Control Program at AngloGoldAshanti Malaria Control Ltd, and research associate work at LEAD at Krea University. Veena holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management from the Institute of Rural Management Anand and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
