Yassmine Lotfi currently serves as a Policy Associate at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) since September 2025. Prior experience includes multiple roles at Synerjies International & Strategic Studies, where Yassmine progressed from Analyst to Senior Analyst, and then to Research and Insights Consultant from November 2021 to September 2025. Earlier experience consists of a position as a Financial Analyst at Intercap Capital in Cairo from August 2020 to September 2021 and a summer internship at CIB Egypt in July 2017. In terms of education, Yassmine is pursuing a Master of Science in International Political Economy at Cairo University, expected to complete in 2025, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of London, completed in July 2020, as well as a Foundation degree in Arts from HELP University.
