Jake May has a diverse work experience history. Jake started their career as a General Merchandise Clerk at Meijer in 2002, where they developed strong organizational and customer relation skills. In 2007, they worked as an Assembly Line Worker at Herman Miller, where they completed time-sensitive tasks under pressure and worked with hand tools to assemble office furniture. Jake also worked part-time as a Sandwich Maker at Potbelly Sandwich Works during this time. In 2008, they worked as a Park Ranger at the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and as a CAD Draftsman/Project Assistant at Foresite Design, Inc. In 2011, they worked as a Laborer at Lotus International Company and as a Project Manager Assistant at J. Ranck Electric, Inc. With this diverse experience, Jake May has gained skills in project management, drafting, labor, and customer service.
Jake May started their education journey at Grand Valley State University from 2003 to 2005. During this time, they pursued general studies. Following that, from 2005 to 2009, Jake attended Lawrence Technological University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture.
