Kilyoung Kim is an experienced scientist with a focus on drug product development. Their work experience includes roles such as Principal Scientist at J-STAR Research, Inc., where they led and conducted drug product development projects for various dosage forms. They also collaborated with other teams and presented experimental results to senior management. Additionally, Kim served as the Chief Scientific Officer/President at Syntekabio USA Inc., managing the organization and leading sales and marketing efforts. Prior to these roles, Kim worked at Lipocine Inc. as a Senior Scientist and held various roles at Brigham Young University, The University of British Columbia, Dongil Scientific Co, Soongsil University, and The University of Texas at Austin, focusing on research and teaching in molecular kinetics and drug development.
Kilyoung Kim obtained a Master's degree in Physical Chemistry from Soongsil University from 1999 to 2001. Later, they pursued a PhD in Physical Chemistry from Brigham Young University and completed it from 2005 to 2011. Additionally, in 2004, they obtained a Certificate in an English Language Course from Brigham Young University.
