As an educational adviser, Jasmine provides academic advising and access to educational opportunities to the Foundation’s Cooke Young Scholars.
Prior to joining the Cooke Foundation, Jasmine served as a Student Success Coordinator at a public residential high school for high-achieving students in her home state of Arkansas. In this role, she supported 100+ students each year and served in a variety of advising roles, guiding students as they learned ways to balance challenging academic work with self-care. She also implemented and executed a College, Career, and Life Readiness curriculum that, in part, advised students in their search for and transition into internships, apprenticeships, and scholarships. Jasmine was recognized as one of six College Board Fellows for her innovative and results-oriented research and work that drives student success and opportunity.
Jasmine holds a B.A. in history and American Studies from Colby College. She also holds an M.S. Ed. in higher education from The University of Pennsylvania.
