Learning Design Consultant at Jackrabbit Learning Experience

Gloria Jirsaraie, Ph.D. has extensive experience in the field of learning design and education, having worked in various roles at multiple organizations. Gloria'smost recent position as a Learning Design Consultant at Jackrabbit Learning Experience began in May 2023. Prior to this, they completed their doctoral program at The Johns Hopkins University in April 2023. From 2019-2022, they worked at 2U as a Senior Learning Designer and a Learning Designer, where they developed online graduate programs and courses, conducted learning needs assessments, and designed outcome-driven courses for adult learners. In 2018-2019, they were a Content Strategist and UX Writer at Hurston/Wright Foundation. Gloria has also taught various English and literature courses as an English Lecturer at The Johns Hopkins University and Emory University, where they were also a researcher and graduate student. Additionally, they worked as a Lead Research Consultant at The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and as a Program Manager at The Center for Africana Studies. From 2012-2014, they served as a Project Coordinator at The Center for Women at Emory University.

Gloria Jirsaraie, Ph.D. earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature, General from Howard University in 2011. Gloria then attended Emory University from 2011 to 2017 as a graduate student in English. Jirsaraie completed their education by attending The Johns Hopkins University from 2016 to 2018, where they studied English but did not receive a degree.
