Jamey Kennedy has over 20 years of experience in product management, software development, and UX research. Jamey began their career in 2000 as a Senior Software Developer and Co-Founder of Crimson Multimedia, Inc., where they designed and engineered an innovative digital platform for the global gaming industry. Jamey was responsible for defining the product vision and strategy, analyzing complex regulatory requirements, preparing technical requirement documents, leading development from concept through delivery, managing a globally distributed team of developers, and product continuous improvement. Jamey also successfully acquired a license to intellectual property enabling exclusive content creation, and managed user empathy into the SDLC. In 2008, they joined Vegas Amusement, Inc. as a Senior Product Manager, where they were responsible for Product Management of a portfolio of software applications licensed within the global gaming industry. Jamey was responsible for feature innovation, design, and optimization, managing product backlog, priorities, and sprint planning, technical analysis, design, and build requirements, UX research, design, and game experience optimization, and ideation, design, and delivery of innovative new product features. Jamey was also awarded 14 US Patents for software innovations. In 2019, they joined Jackrabbit Online Class Management Software as a Senior Product Manager Payments and Senior Product Manager.
Jamey Kennedy holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Alabama's Manderson Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Applied Mathematics from the University of South Carolina. Jamey also has several certifications, including a Product Management certification from Stanford University which they will obtain in September 2022, a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance which they obtained in August 2020, and a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance which they obtained in August 2019.
