Shawn Parker

Shawn Parker has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Shawn began their career as a Sales Associate at The Sport Shoe in 1985. Shawn then transitioned to becoming a High School Teacher and Track and Cross Country Coach at Milton High School from 1993 to 2002. During this time, they earned State Boys Cross Country Coach of the Year honors in 1998. In 2003, Shawn joined DeVry University as the Director of High School Programs and later became the Director of University Partnerships. Shawn managed teams and collaborated with key leaders to drive enrollment growth. In 2014, they moved into the corporate sector, working as a Senior Account Manager at First Advantage and later at SterlingBackcheck, where they built relationships with clients and provided risk mitigation solutions. In 2016, they joined Cross Country Locums as a Staffing Consultant and later became a Training Supervisor. Currently, Shawn is the Associate Director of Sales Development at Jackson + Coker. In 2023, they will transition into the role of Director of Sales Development.

Shawn Parker earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Clemson University, which they attended from 1986 to 1991. Shawn then pursued further education at North Georgia College & State University, where they obtained a Master of Education degree in Behavior Disorders from 1993 to 1997. Prior to their university education, Shawn graduated from Dunwoody HS and received a High School Diploma in 1986.
