Alan Abramovitz

Alan Abramovitz is an accomplished human resources professional with extensive experience in various managerial roles. Currently serving as the Compensation Manager for Jackson County, Missouri since May 2023, Abramovitz previously held the position of Human Resources Manager for the City of Gardner from March 2015 to February 2022, where responsibilities included employee recruitment, compensation, training, and managing staff relations. Abramovitz also served as the Director of Human Resources at Saint Luke's North Hospital from 1985 to 2015, leading initiatives in recruitment, retention, and performance management. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration in City Management from The University of Kansas and a Bachelor's degree from The University of Missouri-Columbia.
