Danny Waxter

Danny Waxter, Ed.D. has extensive experience in the field of education. Danny began their career in 2005 as a Lead Spanish Teacher for Gwinnett County Public Schools. After eight years in this role, they moved on to become the Foreign Language Department Chair at Hall County Schools from 2013 to 2016. Danny then served as an Assistant Principal at Hall County Schools from 2016 to 2020. During this time, they also worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Lanier Technical College from 2019 to 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Assistant Principal of Instruction at Jackson County School System, where they have been since 2020. In 2022, they were promoted to the Director of Student Support Services at Jackson County School System.

Danny Waxter, Ed.D. earned their Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Educational Leadership in Administration and Policy from the UGA Mary Frances Early College of Education, where they studied from 2012 to 2018. Danny also obtained a certification in Blackboard Essential Training from Lynda.com in 2019.
